Anti-ZEBOV GP murine/human chimeric monoclonal antibody
Cat #: 0201-021
price: contact support@gentaur.com
Immunogen: Venezuelan equine encephalitis virus
replicons encoding Zaire ebolavirus (ZEBOV)
glycoprotein (GP) was used to generate the original
mouse monoclonal antibody.
Description: A murine / human chimeric IgG produced
in N. benthamiana and is reactive to ZEBOV GP. The
antibody detects GP in virus-like particles (VLP) and
recombinant GP without the transmembrane region
(rGPdTM).
Supplied: 100 μg is supplied at a concentration of 3.85
mg/mL. No preservative is added.
Purification: Antibody is purified using immobilized
protein A.
Clonality: Murine variable, human constant of the IgG1
isotype.
Relevance: The antibody can be used for detection of
ZEBOV GP. A mixture of all three anti-ZEBOV GP
chimeric antibodies was protective against lethal
challenge in a nonhuman primate study (Olinger et al.
PNAS 2012, vol. 109, no. 44, 18030-18035).
